Intermittently stop and look around to take the day in, as we knew it would go by fast.

Looking back as a bride, I wouldn’t have stressed how the day was going to go. I would have trusted the process and often spent more time being excited than worrying about the things I couldn’t control. For instance, I was very concerned about that weather and it was the most beautiful day! Furthermore, had there been poor weather, the day would have been just as great.

Stay true to yourself when planning. Be sure to not try and have things that are too trendy. Always be able to look back and see yourself in the style of your wedding.

Assign someone to snap pictures at rehearsal dinner. It sounds random, but we are not alone in saying it is the day that was undocumented for us and we are sad about that.

Finally, embrace the change. It all happens for a reason and you may look back and see that it as a blessing in disguise.
